THE Medical’s highly qualified doctors are all registered with the General Medical Council.


Dr Louise Whyte is on the national NHS GP's performers list and also a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Dr Whyte has additional qualifications in obstetrics and gynaecology, and sexual and reproductive health. She has a particular interest in women's health and sexual health.

In her spare time, Dr Whyte enjoys windsurfing, running with her Labrador and competing in triathlons regularly.  


Dr Geoffrey Hogg MBChB, MRCP, MRCGP, DCH

Dr Geoff Hogg has been a GP for nearly 30 years. He currently undertakes GP education and appraisals, as well as front-line clinical work for the NHS and THE Medical. Dr Hogg is registered by the General Medical Council and on the national NHS GP's performers list, as well as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He is the clinical governance lead for Bristol’s out-of-hours GP service. His clinical interests lie in urgent care.

He has a longstanding interest in India and has been involved with setting up of several community projects there.


Dr Grant qualified as a Doctor in Bristol in 1985. He has wide clinical experience as a GP in and around Bristol. He has a particular interest in orthopaedic medicine. He also has wide experience of managing change within Primary Care.

He has been responsible for introducing telephone triage at his own practice and is therefore well acquainted with the advantages and challenges associated with new ways of working.

He is married with an 18 year old son at University and two Labrador dogs.
